This is another week in our lovely Afri-tunes Community, a community that fosters and spreads love on Hive blockchain through our African Tunes and music.
This is week 26 of our musical event in the Community.
For this week, I'd love to share a Guitar Freestyle of the popular Christian Praise and worship song. It's an English song, but I wonder if it is also sung outside the African Church setting.
There are so many English Praise and Worship songs that have become "Africanized" such that we begin to wonder whether these songs are actually sung by the original English speakers. Well, even if they are, they can't sing it like the way we do. The African vibes and rhythm to songs is unique and spectacular.
For this piece, I didn't play it following the regular style or pattern that many of us know it to be. I altered the ending Chord of the song's Chord progression and replaced it with minor Chord and then it's major Chord. This gives a unique, moody and "solemn" ambience. I also did much of an amateur guitar freestyle over the Chord progression of the song.
I think I should start considering getting a Keyboard (Piano), its been a while I played it. Having it closeby will also create enough room for crazy musical explorations and musical growth.
