Welcome to Afri-tunes Community; a community where we share, listen to and enjoy African music and tunes on Hive.
This is the 61st week of our weekly contest on Hive. I encourage you to do well to subscribe, join in and present, as well as always check out for lovely African tunes in the Community.
Attention!!!
When you get to 03:41 - 03:51mins, thou shall not laugh at my crooked voice (lol).
After watching the cryptoholics show around 2-3am, I tried to get some rest because I had a very busy day yesterday.
By the way, I was motivated by the Threads Adoption Campaign to watch the cryptoholics show since it was part of the fun quest. I enjoyed it, but, I think I slept off before the show ended.
I slept for few hours and I woke up around 6am. I discovered that there was electricity, and most importantly the environment was so quiet. This is actually rare, and whenever I see such opportunities, I grab my guitar and make some music. That's why sometimes you see me recording around 3am. Yea, Lagos is a busy place, and my environment is blessed with abundant noise!
Yea, so I woke up around that time, I just washed and wiped off my face, and I tried to sing.
I'm sure Vocalists are aware that in the morning our voices tend to be flat. We won't be able to easily sing those high notes that we'd normally do during the day or in the evening time.
So, if you are laughing, consider the tiredness and consider all I've said above.
Coughs, this is not an explanation on why you shouldn't laugh oooo (lol).
I am here to present a lovely gospel song by the amazing Mercy Chinwo, titled Excess Love. The song speaks about the abundance of God's love on us, and, particularly, on me (I don't know about you).
I hope you enjoy this piece, amidst mu flaws.
