A lot has been going through my mind over the past days, weeks and months. Variety of thoughts regarding the Omnipotence of God; in other words, that God is all Powerful.
In fact, as humans, there are times we question "how Powerful God is" because certain calamities befell us, or because of the huge challenges we experience. We ask, "if God is really Powerful, why can't He stop certain events from happening?" "If God is Powerful, why can't he destroy evil?" "If God is powerful, why does He allow His children to suffer?" And the list goes on!
Is He really Powerful?
Is He really capable?
But we fail to consider whether it is the case that He didn't do it because He cannot do it (meaning He is not Capable) or because He chose not to interfere.
I strongly believe that there is always a reason for everything; and there is always a bigger picture of things which may be unclear to us at the initial stage, but overtime we come to realize the necessity for such occurrences.
Indeed, God is Capable to do all things; His Omnipotence is unquestionable. We may find it hard to comprehend His actions because of our finite and limited view of life (we don't see the clearer picture always). Yet, His Omnipotence shouldn't be judged based on human standards because due to the limitations of man's knowledge and intellect, we do not have the locus standi to judge that which is infinite and which supercedes it.
In this piece, I'll share a cover of a Gospel song by Judikay titled Capable God. The song speaks about the Omnipotence of God, that God is Capable of doing all things and its left for us to align to His will for us.
The background noise was beyond removal and this is a glimpse of what I suffer in this place. Generator sound is almost heard 24/7. I hope I'll be better someday.
I hope you enjoy this piece.
