I remember learning and giving the complete breakdown of the lead guitar lines of Joromi by Simi 5 years ago. This lines do not include the Melody of the song, but it was just the sweet guitar rhythm and solos. You can check the main video on YouTube here, as well as the lead guitar breakdown and the bass guitar breakdown.
This time around, I decided to use my guitar to play the Melody of the song itself as though I were singing it. However, I didn't practice the full song before hand, I just wanted to test my memory, plus I wanted to see how I'll integrate the solo lines of the song without rehearsing. Well, it turned out weak, lol.
I still look forward to doing a full cover someday, where I'll play the instrumentals, then sing the melody over it. After that, I'll add the full lead guitar lines over them as though it were the original song. This will take time, but its not impossible if I eventually decide to do it.
So, for this piece, I decided to record the bass and light rhythm with my guitar effect loop, then I played the Melody and patch solo over it. I hope you enjoy it.
You can watch the guitar solo and rhythm part I made 5 years ago via YouTube.
