Imagine waking up to a dark world, where the energy of everyone is low and you just feel deep inside you that something is missing. A world where there’s no tune to dance or sing to. Trust me, you wouldn’t want to wake up to this day. Life is beautiful and everything we have and see contribute to the beauty that we see today.
Meaning, if a huge factor of our lives should be taken away, we would feel the effects. Music in itself is an art. It has its own way of working magic on people and it serves different purposes for different individuals. Today, music is used in academia, work, personal life , sports and even at some of our family events such as weddings and what have you. This shows how important music is to us in our daily lives.
Personally, music plays a crucial part of my life on the daily basis. It’s my go to place when things are not right. It calms me down and brings me peace of mind. And when I wish to celebrate, music is there to add more fire to it. It’s an unending list if you ask me. I’ve gone weeks without music and I didn’t like the feeling of it at all. It felt like I was drowning. This was more like a personal test I was conducting.
I always felt the need to go back to my usual music cos doing away with it left a huge gap in my life and this affected my daily activities. It was more like I wasn’t being as productive as I would with music. Everyone has his own personal reservations about music, but I know that you’d all agree with me that the world today has so many uses for music.
The world would still revolve without music. But with time, you won’t feel the energy. Some people and things would slowly start to wither away like the life in them has been taken away. Do we wish for a world like this? Obviously not. Life would slowing start to grow boring for us which isn’t something the world would appreciate.
To me, a world without music would be a gloomy one for most of us because an integral part of our life would be lost. But then again, we could give it a shot, might be nice but I highly doubt it will.
