I'm in love
Lots of people, including me cannot give an explanation as to why or how they fall in love with certain people, things, cultures, languages etc. For example without any specific reason, I know that I'm in love with @hopestylist, @merit.ahama, @emyekanem, @marybello, @mipiano @maryjacy, @jessicaossom, @gloriaolar @glowie @benii and a whole lot of people within and outside the hive platform. I don't want to say I love @ksam, @jesus-son @nathcy, @obaro or @magicfingerz and many other guys within and outside this platform. If I dare it, @ksam will be the first to shout 'Holy ghost fire'. 😂 It actually feels so odd especially within the African culture to say 'I love you' to a fellow man or to a fellow woman... When this is said, people naturally think otherwise and become scared of such love. I think we need to outgrow this way of thinking. 'I Love you' should be said to anyone genuinely irrespective of gender age or class. People who kick against this in my opinion do not know or understand the meaning of love.
In this week 76 of @afri-tunes, I'm bringing to you a song from one of the cultures I love and admire so much. I really do not know why, but I have grown to fall deeply in love with the Igbo culture especially their language. I know many of their songs, and when I sing in Igbo language, people who do not know would naturally think that I'm an Igbo. For those who do not know, I am proudly an URHOBO from Delta state and I love my culture as well as many other cultures especially the Igbo culture, particularly their language. The title of the song I have for you this week is 'CHINEKE NNA NARA ONYIYE ANYI' which means: God accept our gift. As you listen to me sing and also play my violin, may God accept your gifts of love, endurance, praise, perseverance and everything you offer to him, and may he bless you abundantly. Cheers 🥂 ❤️ 🎶 🎹 🎵 🎻
