Hello everyone sorry this post is so late I know that my third week is almost finished and I'm gonna be posting really soon again but here is what my second week was like I was finally able to finish up the scaffolding rock and place all the scaffolding into it's new positions.
After that I was asked to deliver some oil and an oil pump to a colleague working on a site in tygerberg.
This was the last thing I need to do on Monday and on my way back to the office I got a message from our dispatcher telling me that starting on Tuesday I will be assisting in a major service being carried out in tygerberg office park which is where I dropped off the oil. And so started my first on site job it was quite a interesting thing to learn how a major service is done on a building's entire system it is quite a big job the first placed we did had over 15 units throughout the officers it took quite a while to finish but we finally did so there was one issue that of course just had to happen right at the end of the last day for the serviced one of the units would not operating correctly and so all we could do was report the malfunctioning unit and advised it to be seen to buy a technician.
Then we moved on to doing another major service for a different company in the same business park. This one was a lot smaller though with only round about 7 units but there were also a lot of diffusers in this one so I needed to go around and clean all of the diffusers well the others worked on the units. Once I was done I headed over to help out with the unit there were a few hiccups during the service such as the company was having a bit of a celebration on that day and we got temporarily locked out of the place and had to figure out how to get someone's attention to let us back in but luckily I had unlocked one of the balcony doors earlier that led to another door to another office so we managed to go through the other office does door to get into the building that we needed to and so the job went on.
And then came the Friday on this day we were supposed to do another service but unfortunately we were unaware that the company's employees or work from home on Fridays so we have to move on to a few other minor jobs in the area and once that was done I headed back to the workshop in order to hand in all of the paperwork from all the jobs we did during the week as well as of our time sheets.
Here are some pictures of units and what we worked on.
