Time really flies when you're having fun or looking forward to a holiday. When the holiday comes, time then proceeds to warp speed, where 7 days goes by like 24 hours.
Anyway, no need to start reminiscing on my incoming holiday that will inevitably fly by. Today, we go back to the office. After today, I won't go to the office for two whole weeks. For me, that's the real victory.
Next year, I'm going to cheekily book Tuesdays off and I'll only stop when my team leader notices a pattern. Then again, we're allowed to book holidays whenever they're available, so I might not get called out for it.
Yesterday went by quite quickly because, like I said at the start, I'm looking forward to the end of the week. I'm feeling neutral today. I'm neither here nor there but I still in fact hate Tuesdays but I reckon my disdain for Tuesdays can now be regarded as my neutral mode because of how natural it feels.
Projected training
I've started taking preliminary steps towards getting professional training. I reckon that by November, I'd have made my first payment and started my journey in project management.
It's going to cost a substantial amount to get the qualifications and develop my CV but overall, I think it will be worth it. I simply want to equip myself on an international level to get opportunities within and outside the UK.
I'd like to settle in the UK but if I see opportunities with better terms outside, I'd jump at it. More training means more responsibility and I suspect that I'll end up being one of those suits that whip out their laptop on the train. It is what it is, I guess.
