Gradually the world is losing its sanity with each minute and even second that passes by. Ever heard the expression, your well-being is all that matters or your happiness is the topmost priority? Yeah, sounds a little bit motivating, right? Or you could @iammanythings is back again with another motivation for the day. I wouldn't agree any less with you cause that is what I am about to do again. Over time, I have come to the realization that with each and every day that passes by, things just keep getting worse or you could say HORRIBLE. The economy is deteriorating daily, and the government isn't being nice to its citizens, poverty is in the land, people are fucking hungry and craving food, and religion is now something of CLASH OF TITANS.
On my way to work yesterday, what my eye saw was quite devastating, more precisely damaging to the eye. I would even say it's kind of the inspiration behind this article cause deep down in my mind I know I can't act as if it was normal or just a regular thing. On a widely opened express road, I came across a mentally deranged elderly woman sitting flat on the floor or rather in the middle of the road.

You needed to see the shock written boldly on my face. It was priceless and quite depressing at the same time. For me, it became too isolating for me to look at the lady in person or even establish any form of eye contact. Also, I can't fail to omit the fact that it was even more excruciating to watch the lady because she was completely naked and shouting words that probably didn't make sense to others watching from afar. But honestly, I still feel she was expressing a severe pain she was probably feeling deep down within her.
Sadly, this wasn't the bad part of the story. What made it more heartbreaking was how people around and when I say people around, I am simply talking about the strangers standing on the sidebar of the road, the bystanders that watched as she lamented in pain, the innocent ones who were actually feeling the woman's pain but too scared to give a helping hand. I wouldn't lie to you, I weep as I write this, because I'm guilty as charged.
I'm guilty of not helping, I'm guilty of not giving out a call for help, and I'm still guilty of walking past the lady and acting like it was normal. All this because I was too scared to do a thing.
SUCH AN IRONY
I now live in a world and a developing country where we are now too scared to give a shit about what's happening to a complete stranger. I am not one to pass the blame but I ask
WHEN DID IT GET THIS BAD?
When did we start to care less and less about what happens to humanity? When did our leaders decide to turn a deaf ear to the cry of its people and for christ's sake WHEN DID HUMANITY BECOME THE NEW MONSTER LURKING AROUND THE BLOCK.
