Work, Work, Work

Things have been going fairly well, apart from this month. My days in work were kind of spread out, which meant that I had to get buses back and forth each day, which worked out at around €40 a week, not including other expenses.

But, everything is going to be changing for this month and the months to come.

Quiet Time

During autumn things tend to get quiet in there, as we're kind of out of season. We still get tours coming through, and walk-ins, but hardly as much as we would during the summer months.

I ended up getting a new job though, 3 days a week, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. The best thing about this is it's work from home. So no need to ponce around on buses, and essentially no added expenses.

Talking to my current employer about this was anxiety-inducing, but it actually went well and worked in my favour. My days with them are now - and will be for the future - Friday, Saturday and Sunday (Also, Sunday is a half day)

Aimee's days off are Thursday and Sunday, so we get to have our family day and do our little day trips and those days will not be affected, and I made sure of that. So, all in all, I'm delighted, also, the extra money it brings in will be much appreciated.

There's only one problem. My eBay stuff might be a bit harder to do for the next couple of months. But, I have a work around for that.

eBay Stuff

So, all of my stuff is in my home-town in my office, and I live with Aimee in her town for the majority of the week. Really, I've been dropping into my place when I finish work to grab some stuff, package it and drop it to the post office before the bus. Also, occasionally I have a delivery which I want to go through. This month has been a pain, so I haven't been able to organise, clean, or photograph anything for new listings, but thanks to a back-log of stuff I done previously, I've managed to keep new listings going out.

The work around, due to the lack of time. Obviously the post office is shut on the weekend, so getting things out will be tougher. So, I've recruited my mum.

Essentially when something sells, I'll let her know what it is, and where it's going, she can head up to the house, get the stuff together and send them out, and for the hassle I'm going to give her 20% commission on whatever sells.

She refused to take money initially, but I told her I'd be sending it regardless. I've made my money back, so everything from here on is just profit, and since it's all set up and running, there isn't a whole lot I need to do to keep it going.

All I have to do is organise stuff when I can, photograph and list everything I've got, and any new items I pick up along the way.

I've actually got a few things coming in, and they're really cool, but I'll be writing about them in detail when I've got them.

Everything is looking up, and while it's going to be hard going right now, it'll be so worth it and will pay off.

I'll carry on my daily posting here too, which is currently at 22 months, which hasn't been easy with everything going on, but it has been well worth it too. The crypto market in general is a bit shit, which sucks. It won't last forever though, and I've managed to hang onto everything while I wait for the prices to get better, which is good.

Here the days off are Saturday and Sunday, the peace and quiet is good, and telling someone about our problems is a relief. It's good that your mother helps you and you reward her, money is always good.

I hope everything turns out great for you, best regards.

It’s important that we make the changes now and work to build the eggs now. Good money and cash flow for a bull market are made in a bear market keep that in mind!

Glad that the eBay stuff is working out well for you dude. I found my halo Lego set the other day I’ll take a picture for you to let me know if it’s shit Or a decent one haha.
