We might be close to the so-called dead internet theory.

Tbh, the Internet was always a "spammy place", but I do agree that we are going in a direction that people will be obsolete soon... I remember back in the days, whatever would be popular (earning money over the Internet), would be always so much spammed and milked, that in the end, it would just lose its purpose and die...

In our case, it looks like we, humans, will be obsolete and disappear from the Internet... Sounds silly, but we are moving there... 😃

It sounds silly indeed and we all thought it's just some conspiracy theory but the thing is, AI has advanced so much that the concerns that we used to have is increasingly real. There's incentives to build right now and I guess because it's money-driven we rarely think much of the future and social implications of all these. I am sure you've heard of UBI but really, how many countries can it actually be implemented?

The thing is, anything that's being built on anywhere hasn't really ripened yet. It's like bitcoin at first, it was just a small thing on the internet but then now, it's made it to news and has its special section for it. People are heavily invested at least 2% of their net worth. That also being said, Twitter is just like 586 million monthly users and not all of them may be aware but once it's ripened, I guess it's over xD and AI rules haha
