Well, I'm here for the money and all the extras. I clearly came for the money because if it wasn't an incentive, I'd be on a Web 2 platform sharing my thoughts instead. At first it was about the money I was getting immediately, being able to sort my immediate needs, then I learned to take steps to secure my financial life.
I haven't looked back since then and it's more about the future now. It's the reason why I'm still here even when the money doesn't come like before especially in this bear market.

For a short while now, I've noticed the engagement on hive drop and it kind of downs my energy too. People post less these days and the engagement on other posts has dropped. I'm not saying this from what I see on my posts alone, I also see it on other accounts. Or maybe it's just my feed.
It's such a downer that I don't get as much interaction anymore because it's something I always look forward to. I enjoy blogging and having an audience to chat with. Without them, it's boring.
I can't tell you how often I refresh my page and each time I'm surprised that I don't see that precious red dot. What is everyone doing? lol. At a point, I was wondering if some people see me because I don't even see them pop up on my feed anymore. All I see mostly are strange reblogs I'm not interested in.
Sometime ago I did a post on things to do when your hive feed is boring but they're not working for me right now because I click around and still don't find things I'm interested in. It feels like the streets are empty.
