A Trip to the Metaphysical Boutique

in #hive-1963083 years ago

I can't deny the power and excitement I feel when I step into our local metaphysical shop, Ritual.
And it's #marketfriday hosted by @dswigle already, so come take a look at one of my favorite stores in my neighborhood!

()
It is tucked into a little professional building, between a realtor and, I think, a lawyer.
The sign is so tiny, that even though we had been here before, the friend I was meeting passed it and had to circle back.
She was there for a class but I was simply there to browse and say hi to her.

There are all sorts of things a person may need in their spiritual life. Bottles from days past, obviously.
And Tarot, Oracle and other such card decks galore.

Bones, cauldrons, candles, runes....and also jewelry and keychains to show your witchy side.

She carries bulk herbs and 'herb'. Unfortunately her new French Bulldog puppy was at home that day.

All sorts of candles and crystals. So many card decks they are strewn about the whole store.

I snapped a photo of this Shaman box because it is going on my birthday wish list!
Instead, I picked up some runes and a book, as stated in a previous post , and helped my friend pick out her first oracle deck.

I have to admit, this was such an interesting store that I know nothing about, so I liked perusing around as you explained things. You didn't say where the store is located or if they were expensive there.

Thank you for being a part of #MarketFriday! I cannot tell you how pleased I am to see so many participating every week. I have learned so much about the different cultures of the world, especially the small things that go unnoticed except by those looking for it. Life is interesting, wherever you are, whatever you are doing.

#MarketFriday began as a way to reach out across the globe and learn about different cultures through their markets, especially local markets and farmers markets and eventually branching out and evolving over time from straight shopping to a cultural affair as it highlights how we differ and then again, how much we are alike. We have become a melting pot of culture, but, it is still the Rituals, Festivals, food, architecture, even your language/languages that separate us... Along with the fact of what is these things are normal for us. There are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. A strong culture can be beneficial to a country as it promotes unity, especially during a crisis, peaceful debate, and open dialogue. I have learned so much about all of you and it has been an amazing experience. I can only hope that learning about each other can help us work together for a peaceful world.

Fridays are all about the #MarketFriday Challenge! Looking to take part in it? Here is how:

Rules of the Road to Join #MarketFriday!

  1. Go to the market, or anywhere that you pay money for a service.
    Take pictures! Be creative!
  2. Tell us a little bit about the market or the event. What brought you there? What did you buy? How much did it cost?
  3. Post the picture(s) Of course, you should tell a little bit about the ones you post
  4. Use the MarketFriday Community Platform to post #hive-196308 (this is not required, but appreciated)
    5. Drop the link into the MarketFriday comment section so I can find it
  5. Following me and reblogging the post so more see it would be appreciated !! Not a rule, just appreciated, more vision for more views on your posts!
    7. You must put #MarketFriday by @dswigle somewhere on your post. If you don't and someone reads it, there is nothing to tie #MarketFriday to that post.

As always, please remember! #MarketFriday loves you!

Ah! Well, it's in my little town on Cape Cod, in Dennis. Prices are very reasonable. The Psychic Meditations book I got on my first visit was around $20, for a paperback. And the Runes I bought during this trip were $13, which I think is good, though I don't really know the going price for runes. And again, the book was priced from the publisher, so it too was around $20 (hardcover). Thanks for looking around, thanks for the questions!

I love Dennis and all of Barnstable Co! I'm from Connecticut, by my mothers people are totally Cape Cod, Providence and Newport. Of course the Providence in Newport people don't mix so much but good thing that they're not related to each other. Lol thank you so much for such an interesting post! Kiss Cape Cod hello for me!

I am finding it very interesting that a lot of the people I'm gravitating to either live near by or have some connection to it! That's the universe for you, I guess! ;)

I can't deny the power and excitement I feel when I step into our local metaphysical shop, Ritual.

Seeing what kind of things they have in Store, I absolutely understand why their shop is called Ritual.

There are all sorts of things a person may need in their spiritual life. Bottles from days past, obviously.
And Tarot, Oracle and other such card decks galore.

I think that physical things are not needed for spiritual life, nor to think about spirituality. Better to sit down in a park/forest, and relax or think.

Either way, thank you for this virtual tour.

!PIZZA.
!LUV.

Have a nice day. All the best. Greetings and much love from Hungary.

It's true we all have our own ways of expressing or exploring spirituality. I like a nice quiet meditation in my bamboo garden...I also love channeling my guides through cards. The beauty of individualism! ;)
Thank you for visiting!

@xplosive(2/5) gave you LUV. H-E tools | connect | <><

Given the current emission rate of LUV pushing 500/day, increases to required LUV levels will likely be forthcoming.
