Goza Friday Market

in #hive-1963082 years ago

Hello everyone, it's my first time posting on #MarketFriday..
I'm eager to share with you how my shopping went.
I hardly go to the big markets to buy things although things are cheaper in a particular day especially on Friday..

Goza market is a popular market for those living around airport road Abuja.
Their market days are Monday and Friday. Friday's is a busy day in the market.

People come from near and far to buy in bulk. This market is where many retail owners to buy.

All kinds of food stuffs are sold. Those selling tomatoes have where they stay.
Those selling shoes and clothes have where they stay

The price of things is on the high increase. Even some traders don't engaged in much negotiations...

After buying foodstuffs I decided to purchase some wears.

Thanks for Reading 💓🙂

Nice photos you've got here!

Thank you

Please buy me Akara when you're coming back oo

Lol.... ok...

Goza market is similar to the majority of the local markets we have in Ghana, where vendors display foodstuffs on sacks on the ground. Food products are usually less expensive, but recently it seems like everything we buy is being affected by inflation. Thanks for sharing about your experience in #MarketFriday by @dswigle

Thank you

Welcome to #MarketFriday!!! I hope you had fun journaling and posting about it. The market was amazingly busy, just like you said it would be! I have to admit, I loved your photographs. You got some interesting shots and you gave a broad view of it, so I truly could imagine it! Thank you!

hose carrots and cucumbers looked delicious! Everything is so expensive, isn't it? TIt is crazy! They are making it so I cannot even afford to shop! I appreciate the trip with you! It was fun. I included the guidelines, not because you didn't do well, but just so you know all the ways you can make a #MarketFriday!! :)

#MarketFriday began as a way to reach out across the globe and learn about different cultures through their markets, especially local markets and farmers' markets, and eventually branched out and evolved over time from straight shopping to a cultural affair as it highlights how we differ and then again, how much we are alike. We have become a melting pot of culture, but, it is still the Rituals, Festivals, food, architecture, and even your language/languages that separate us... Along with the fact that is these things are normal for us. There are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. A strong culture can be beneficial to a country as it promotes unity, especially during a crisis, peaceful debate, and open dialogue. I have learned so much about all of you and it has been an amazing experience. I can only hope that learning about each other can help us work together for a peaceful world.
