Budol for today's Market Friday.

in #hive-1963082 years ago

Today is Friday and supposedly I should be at school but I took a one-day leave using one of the service credits that I gain before. My reason for my absence is because I need to accompany my wife to the next town for some important matters. It's not that I took an advantage of it but we need to take some action for important matters that we need to attend to. And I also have an important matter that I need to do today so we went to two towns. And tomorrow, we then again travel to the next town for her medical examination.

So first we went to the town where she needs to do her thing and afterward we went to the town where I need to do mine. It's so tiresome but still a productive day for both of us. After we were able to do the things we need to do, we decided to go to a department store since I need to buy black shoes for my work but what happened? We were BUDOL'ed.

When we say Budol, it's the kind of situation where we supposedly not to buy a such thing but our feeling and the urge to buy happened and you just can't ignore it and you bought the thing. And that is what happened to us today.

We ate our lunch first before we went to the department store. Don't mind my picture because my wife keeps on taking some shots of me. I bought her sisig and halo-halo while I bought sizzling sisig for myself. The said fold chain is called May Abuhan and I admit I am not that fan of their foods but we don't know another eatery in the said town so we don't have a choice.

After we are our lunch, we already went to the department store which is called J&F. We don't have big malls here just like the other municipalities but at least we have somewhere we can buy our needs.

When we were inside, we proceed first to the shoe department and look for black shoes but didn't see any. There were shoes that I liked but I prefer to buy black shoes that's why I just looked at them. My wife told me that we need to go home coz she was sleepy and there were no black shoes available but I saw a food tray for dogs and a leash so I went there while my wife tails me. While choosing our pet's food trays, my wife went to the other departments and looked for things she liked especially the kitchen stuff. She was looking for a cauldron because our old one already had a hole. So, she didn't hesitate to put it in our basket. I also decided to buy a hammer while she went to the department where the stock layers were placed. And there she told me we need to have one because it's kind of messy and unorganized in our kitchen sink. So as a kind husband, I didn't argue and just nod my head, lol.

I took her to the watch department areas and chose a watch for her because she'll need it when she will be teaching. I saw a G-shock watch with could color purple but she didn't like it coz she said it was big for her. I asked the sales lady if she can try the watch but then my wife declined and said it was really big for her. I chose another but she didn't like it and still declined. She then went to the beauty products area and bought our skincare product which is the skin expert. My wife doesn't like material things but she likes soaps and body cleansers, you know, body/face skin care is one of her self-love "Kuno". So, I just let her buy our skincare because I think that I also need it back. After all, J found me so haggard these past few days.

After we bought the things that we were Budoled, we decided to head home. But before that my wife told me that she'll take some shots of me in the store where there's a place you can take a picture. Since it's almost December and Christmas is fast approaching, the design is about Christmas. There's a lap Halloween-themed also in the said area. My wife told me that hoped someday we can buy a Christmas tree before Christmas Eve. Upon hearing that, I am hoping I'll be able to grant her wish.

As you can see, I was holding two plastics in my hand and those things that we bought were not on our plan. Well, it's okay as long as I made my wife happy, that matters most. When we arrived home she was excited to assemble the stock layers and put other stuff in the kitchen. That's why my wife is one of happiness, having or buying kitchen stuff if we have extra money. I am just glad I have extra money today, lol.

So, that is what happens to our Market Friday. We had a productive day also as we able to achieve the things that need to be done this day. See you in my next post everyone.

That is great that you went together and got the things you need. I am not sure where you live, or what you paid for your items, I think I will just send you the guidelines for posting a #MarketFriday post. It might make it easier for you.

#MarketFriday began as a way to reach out across the globe and learn about different cultures through by their markets, especially local markets and farmers markets and eventually branching out and evolving over time from straight shopping to a cultural affair as it highlights how we differ and then again, how much we are alike. We have become a melting pot of culture, but, it is still the Rituals, Festivals, food, architecture, even your language/languages that separate us... Along with the fact of what is these things are normal for us. There are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. A strong culture can be beneficial to a country as it promotes unity, especially during a crisis, peaceful debate, and open dialogue. I have learned so much about all of you and it has been an amazing experience. I can only hope that learning about each other can help us work together for a peaceful world.

Fridays are all about the #MarketFriday Challenge! Looking to take part in it? Here is how:
