I will show you my visit to LEAKEY’S BOOKSHOP in Inverness. 📚

My 16 photographs are all taken with my #iPhone 🤓 on 25 February 2023 📱last weekend ~ in Inverness UK 🇬🇧 the additional ones I will state separately.
Let’s talk first a little bit about this BOOKSHOP.

It’s such a cool place. 📚 It’s rather famous I would say. It’s SCOTLANDS biggest #secondhand bookshop. Also it’s #location is unique, 🤓 ok ok not location but where IN it is located:
The bookshop is in a #CHURCH.
At the time I visited, I will show you later on, there was scaffolding all around it on the outside. So a pretty picture I can’t show you. 🫣
But… for this reason I show you a few screenshots I took of their #socialmedia page, to show you what a stunning place it is without scaffolding. (All credit goes to them for these 2 captures)

We see books 📕 everywhere…
The space… they kept a lot of the #original #features.
Looking in a few “walking books”… sometimes you do find some hidden treasures in them. 🥰 I love that about old books 📚
More books, these ones are about the HIGHLANDS, the area I live in since January.
Looking into the space again. We see how they divided the space. There are 2 floors now.

Walking outside… here you can see the scaffolding all around the outside. It would have been cool to capture this building without it. Maybe next time when I visit again.

I love second hand book shops 📚😎 one can find great books.
This time I didn’t find what I was looking for.
But… I did buy this week a second hand book on-line, what arrived yesterday.
