Thank God is Friday and it's not just Friday, it's a day to share my market adventures with an amazing personality (@dswigle 😍) and all others who would be interested to see what I got from the market.
Writing a market Friday post seem to be easy or is it just the fact that I do have fun writing it? 😁 Well, here I am to share some things I got and why I got them.
I visited the market specifically for a reason. Mum had called to share some stomach ache remedy to me and also added something that I always want to be aware of... She gave recipe for me to prepare that would help me add weight 😂
I'm not sure if you know before, I've been finding ways to add more flesh to my skinny body so you can imagine how happy I was visiting the market to get the recipes and begin taking them.
Visiting Joffel supermarket was the perfect place for my market Friday shopping because it is more convenient to get all I needed.
Pringles!!! They were so tempting (Yeah, that means I didn't buy one for myself because I was on a budget) but I couldn't pass by so easily, I checked out the flavours they had and gave an excuse in my heart that I didn't find my favourite flavour 😅 don't blame me.
I got to the drinks department for a specific reason of getting one of the recipe mum gave me (An hollandia yoghurt evap drink) but I couldn't find it anc I decided to go ask one of the attendants on the roll... She pointed the fridge for me (They are all in there, she said).
Why didn't I think that? I questioned myself hehe...
I'm not sure if you can see the drink I bought from the picture but you'll get to see what the drink is as you read and view on. I took six of the drink even though it wasn't going to be enough (I heard it was a bit more expensive than other sweetened yoghurt).
No, these weren't included in the recipe list but I was craving for some snacks so I went to the department to get two. I didn't find my favourite chocolate cookies so I settled for Bence biscuit (a chocolate flavoured one).
Have you done something this silly before? Eating your snacks up before you pay for it...
If you have, let me know so next time I'll be comfortable to do that... I can just show them the empty sachet to pay right? 😂 I'm asking in case of situations where I can't bear it longer than I had been.
One of my favourite department because I love peanut butter a lot and it so happened that one of the ingredients in the recipe is peanut butter 😍 so I got a bigger size and it was just one remaining of my favourite peanut butter style (the crunchy one).
I also got checkers custard for my room, it's one of the easiest meal I make when in hurry so I made sure to get it since I was already at the supermarket. The price went up but didn't make me change my mind from getting it.
And off to the cashier I went to pay up for my picks, didn't buy much obviously but those little things I bought gave me joy because I may be gaining more flesh to my skinny skin soon 😍
I paid a total of 12 dollars, don't mind the amount showing on the screen. I took the pic before she punched all the numbers together to give me a total.
I got bananas too, it was the last recipe ingredient and I couldn't get it at the supermarket so I bought it from a close by market before going back home.
Making the recipe for consumption
If you've been wondering about what the Hollandia yoghurt evap look like, there it is and of course the peanut butter I got too.
Two tablespoon of peanut butter, two fingers of bananas was the direction given. Then I mixed the two to get an almost smooth look of the two together.
After mixing, I poured the hollandia yoghurt evap to it and mixed before drinking it. It was a very delicious and too sweet medicine so it wasn't hard to finish the quantity.
Now, I just have to keep this up to get a good result sooner or later. What do you think about my new kinda medicine for weight/flesh gain? 😂
Well, that is for #marketfriday initiated by @dswigle and I hope you had fun with me.
A flower for you ma'am 😊 it's #alwaysaflower day everyday, right? I wonder if you know the name of this flower (I'm not so good with flower names 😁)
