Espero que se encuentren muy bien hoy, yo por mi lado, estoy emocionada porque junto a mi hermano👩🏽🤝👨🏾, conocimos un nuevo super mercado en mi ciudad, Maturín, al que no habíamos tenido la oportunidad de visitar antes.
Este lugar se llama Forum y está ubicado en el centro de la ciudad, por la Universidad Bolivariana de Venezuela. 🇻🇪

I hope you are feeling great today, I for one, am excited because together with my brother👩🏽🤝👨🏾, we got to know a new super market in my city, Maturin, which we had not had the opportunity to visit before.
This place is called Forum and is located in the center of the city, by the Bolivarian University of Venezuela. 🇻🇪
Nos recibe un amable señor en la entrada y nos pide amablemente que pongamos nuestros bolsos en el carrito de mercado, pensé que nos daría un ticket o algo para retirarlo al salir, pero para mi sorpresa, debíamos llevarnos el carrito con el bolso jaja. 🛒
Fue muy gracioso andar por los pasillos con nuestro carrito. 😂
We were greeted by a kind gentleman at the entrance and he kindly asked us to put our bags in the market cart, I thought he would give us a ticket or something to pick it up on the way out, but to my surprise, we had to take the cart with the bag haha. 🛒
It was so funny to walk through the aisles with our cart. 😂

El lugar me encantó, especialmente por el aire acondicionado, qué puedo decirles🤷🏽♀️, Maturín es excesivamente caluroso y entrar a lugares así te hace querer no irte nunca.
El lugar es espacioso y está dividido en varios pasillos con muchos productos, como el de frutas y verduras, licores, charcutería, cuidado personal y hasta tienen una cafetería en la que puedes pedirte tu cafecito y bebidas y sentarte tranquilamente a utilizar la red de Wifi libre que tienen.
I loved the place, especially the air conditioning, what can I tell you🤷🏽♀️, Maturin is excessively hot, and going to places like this makes you want to never leave.
The place is spacious and divided into several aisles with many products, such as fruits and vegetables, liquors, delicatessen, and personal care and they even have a cafeteria where you can order your coffee and drinks and sit quietly to use the free Wi-Fi network they have.
Quería tomar algo, pero no me apetecía café, ya que era mediodía y veníamos de una larga caminata, quería algo frío, así que pedí dos maltas Maltin Polar, una bebida venezolana muy popular que nos gusta mucho, es como una cerveza pero sin alcohol. 🍻
Después de pagarlas (fueron casi 2$) y ver que no había un lugar libre para sentarnos, porque había muchas personas, así que decidimos recorrer los pasillos mientras nos refrescábamos con las maltas.
I wanted something to drink, but I didn't feel like coffee, since it was noon and we were coming from a long walk, I wanted something cold, so I ordered two malts Maltin Polar, a very popular Venezuelan drink that we like a lot, it's like a beer but without alcohol. 🍻
After paying for them (it was almost $2) and seeing that there wasn't a free place to sit, because there were so many people, we decided to walk the aisles while we refreshed ourselves with the malts.
En el stand de los licores y bebidas me sorprendió ver marcas extranjeras que no había visto en otros lugares, como las bebidas Monster y Arizona. Cuando estaba más pequeña y estaba la moda Tumblr siempre quise saber a qué sabían estas bebidas, porque era lo Aesthetic en esos tiempos😂. Ahora ya sé que puedo conseguirlas acá, quizá venga luego por ellas, por ahora me quedo con mi malta.
At the liquor and beverage booth, I was surprised to see foreign brands that I had not seen elsewhere, such as Monster and Arizona drinks. When I was younger and Tumblr was all the rage I always wanted to know what these drinks tasted like, because it was the Aesthetic thing to do back then😂. Now I know I can get them here, maybe I'll come back for them later, for now, I'll keep my malt.
Una parte importante para nosotros los latinos para nuestra comida y sazón, son las especias y aquí vimos muchísimas, quedamos impresionados.
An important part for us Latinos for our food and seasoning, are the spices and here we saw so many, we were impressed.
Después de terminarnos nuestras bebidas, decidimos que ya era hora de partir, así que nos dirigimos a la salida y había un bonito letrero despidiéndonos que decía Chao, estamos para servirte. Muy bonito todo la verdad.
Un muchacho chequeó mi factura de las bebidas, la selló y nos deseó un buen día.
After finishing our drinks, we decided it was time to leave, so we headed for the exit there was a nice sign saying goodbye that said Chao, we are here to serve you. Very nice indeed.
A guy checked my drink bill, stamped it, and wished us a good day.
Salimos por la parte del estacionamiento donde está el gran muro con el logo de Forum que se logra ver a la distancia para poder ubicarlo.
We left through the parking lot where there is a big wall with the Forum logo that you can see from a distance to be able to locate it.
La verdad me gustó mucho este lugar y cuando vuelva a estar por esta parte del centro quizá vuelva a entrar para comprar cosas o sentarme en la cafetería un rato.

I liked this place and when I'm back in this part of downtown I might go back in to buy things or sit in the cafeteria for a while.
