Hello StemSocial Community! Welcome to my blog. It had been the second day since I had diarrhea. Today when I visited my home physician, he asked me about my last meal. First I was surprised by his question. Later, I came to realize the Importance of Patient History for the diagnosis. I mentioned that I had taken beef. For further clarification, he asked whether this beef was fresh or frozen. I made it clear that we had purchased this meat from the supermarket; hence, it is surely frozen meat. Before further discussion, he asked me to submit my Stool Sample to the lab, and later, he would prescribe medicines.
Bloody Enteritis
When I received my stool test report after 2 hours. I was depressed to see that I was Salmonella Positive. Yes, the meat I was taken last time was habitat for Salmonella Bacteria. Thank God I was not infected with Food Poisoning. Otherwise, the result would be fatal. Anyway when I presented my stool test report to doctor, he confirmed that,
"Aslam! You are diagnosed with Bloody Enteritis due to Salmonella"
Thankfully, I was diagnosed earlier, and the treatment was simple. Before my situation became worse, he administered one infusion of Flygel. Moreover, he also administered Vitamin K. Further, he also told me to keep myself away from spicy food. He recommended fibers that can easily be digested from the intestinal tract.
Final Thoughts
We should cook frozen meat properly to kill Salmonella and other bacteria. Moreover, If we are feeling sick after eating meat, then we should visit a doctor as early as possible. We should follow instructions delivered by doctors to save ourselves from further health complications. Now I'm feeling comfortable, and the abdominal pain has disappeared. I hope I shall recover soon. Bloody Enteritis had weakened me; hence,e, I was offline from the platform.
