The place where I am living at right now is very close to the main road. And every time I walk towards the main road I notice the guy in picture always sits at the same place alone and today out of curiosity I asked him do you live here? He said no. Then I asked him then why do you always sit here alone then he replied that I am not alone here. I was pretty shocked, for a second I was wondering if he is mentally okay or not. And then I noticed this little cute Casper coming out from the bottom of an chair and he just stood beside Rahim.
And then Rahim told me a story which touched my heart. Rahim lost his mother at the age of 4 and then lost his father at the age of 13 and after that he started living alone in his uncle's place. But after his uncle got married, his uncle told him to shift somewhere else but Rahim wasn't capable of renting a room so he started living in footpath. There he found Casper. Soon, Casper became his closest buddy. The money he got from the people in footpath, he used to buy food for both of them. After couple of months Rahim thought of doing something else rather than just begging people for money. He started selling vegetables. After few days he started selling newspapers in buses and trains. But the cutest part is he told that Casper always waits for him till he comes back from his job. He always stays at the same place. Today when I was talking to him I saw him holding flowers and he said as valentines day is near so he is selling flowers now. What an amazing guy. These are the unsung heroes who are struggling every single day just to survive. HATS OFF.
