This is my very special vocal rottweiler named Roxy. I never knew rottweiler's were so vocal. We got when she was 8 weeks old. And her vocalness didn't really come out till she was about 2 years old. At first we thought she was being aggressive towards us. So we would scolded her about it. Then by observing her when she was growl/purring the hairs on the back of her neck were not sticking up. And she would also wag her nubby tail sometimes. These are some of her awesome quirks I find amusing. She growl/purrs when I pet her. She whines when she needs to go outside, or when my wife and I are hugging. She loves to be hugged. So I think she is jealous because she is not the one being hugged by us. She watches TV. Chases animals on the TV. She is very obedient. I can drop a piece of food on the ground and tell her to leave it. And she will not touch it until I tell her it's ok.
Este es mi rottweiler vocal muy especial llamado Roxy. Nunca supe que los rottweiler eran tan vocales. Lo conseguimos cuando tenía 8 semanas. Y su vocalidad realmente no salió hasta que tenía alrededor de 2 años. Al principio pensamos que estaba siendo agresiva con nosotros. Así que la regañamos por eso. Luego, al observarla cuando gruñía o ronroneaba, los pelos de la nuca no se le erizaban. Y también movía su cola nudosa a veces. Estas son algunas de sus increíbles peculiaridades que encuentro divertidas. Ella gruñe/ronronea cuando la acaricio. Se queja cuando necesita salir o cuando mi esposa y yo nos abrazamos. Le encanta que la abracen. Así que creo que está celosa porque no es ella la que está siendo abrazada por nosotros. Ella ve la televisión. Persigue animales en la TV. Ella es muy obediente. Puedo tirar un trozo de comida al suelo y decirle que lo deje. Y ella no lo tocará hasta que yo le diga que está bien.
Besides all that. This is how I know she feels safe and comfortable in her home. This position is a very vulnerable position for dogs. So when they sleep like this they trust you and the environment their in. This awesome and I love it.
Además de todo eso. Así es como sé que se siente segura y cómoda en su hogar. Esta posición es una posición muy vulnerable para los perros. Entonces, cuando duermen así, confían en ti y en el entorno en el que se encuentran. Este asombroso y me encanta.
