Hello, animal and pet lovers! I hope you are doing well. The last time I was here, I spoke about things to know before adopting a tortoise without realizing I would be talking about my own pet today.
After visiting the community for a while, I saw different amazing pet stories, so I decided to share mine.
The truth is that, I was never a cat person, or should I say, I was brought up to fear and dislike cats, but everything changed after I started reading about them. Some years ago, I visited a friend who had a good numbers of cats as pet. I was reluctant to enter her home, but I did, and the cats became very friendly with me. I was scared of carrying them at first, but I did, and from that day on, I became a lover of cats.
I work from home, and I am always indoors. Sometimes it gets so lonely, so I spoke with my friend, and she asked me to come pick up some cats. I got to her place; it was a hard for me to pick, but I did pick these two because they seem to always walk together.
I didn't take pictures of the other cats because I was anxious and excited at the same time. When I brought them home, they were of me or even allowed to touch them. Before I left my friend's home, she gave me a good number of pieces of advice on how to care for them. I did what she asked of me. I took them to the vet, but they are still scared of me.
They look so much alike I can't tell them apart because they both look alike. This has made it very difficult for me to name them.
One of them is very active. It was just moving all around the room, while the other one just kept to herself. I went to my room and left my door open just to see the two cats on my bed sleeping too. I spent most of the day getting their home fixed and the place where they would take their dumb. I was told I had to train them for that.
Anytime I try touching them, they won't let me. They keep backing up but will always follow me anywhere I go, like a mother duck. If I close my room door, they will cry, meow, and meow until I open it, yet they will always try to run when I want to pat them. They are still young, I guess.
I will do by best to take care of them and make sure they have the best home.
Thanks for reading. If there are more tips you think I should know about, I will be happy if you share them with me.
