Good evening! For today's blog, I'm gonna share with you the story of how I got Sunny, my pet dog. I adopted her 4 years ago. Sunny is a crossbreed of 4: Shih-Tzu, Poodle, Japanese Spitz, and Pomeranian. I'm very excited to let Sunny meet you all here!
The first day we met: An exciting one!
Sunny came from my cousin's colleague. My cousin is a veterinarian and her colleague's dog gave birth to 5 puppies. Sunny is the only survivor among the 5. Her siblings died because of intestinal parasites. I feel so sad for her siblings but I'm happy that Sunny survived and met me. Her colleague was looking for an adoptive furparent and so my cousin reached out to me if I was willing to adopt a puppy.
I said yes right away and got very excited to see her one day. Sidenote, I was recovering from my depression at that time so I thought adopting a puppy was a great idea. She sent me this photo:
Sunny was only a month old at that time. Such a cutie! That was on September 5, 2019. And finally, after a week, we met!
She was so tiny
back then, I remember I used to place her in my handbag before because I had no cage yet. You could just carry her with one hand.
Why I named her Sunny?
I named her Sunny because during those times, I watched the famous Korean series "Goblin" and I liked the character of Yoo In-Na as Sunny.
Her first and all-time favorite toy, Bee-Talk
When Sunny first came here, we welcomed her with great delight and excitement. I introduced her to Bee-Talk and she liked the toy since then. I bought her more toys but she still chooses Bee-Talk among them.
Bee-talk has been and will always be her top choice among the toys she has. Her routine is playing with the toy after eating her dinner. She likes me to throw the toy and she chases it then gives it back to me.
Oh well, I had fun compiling all of Sunny's photos in one blog. It's great to remember such milestones she had and will have in the future.
What about you, do you also have a pet?
Thanks for reading.
Keep safe everyone!
