One morning, my mom told me that the kitten was missing overnight.

They were just hanging around their box the night before my mom was about to go to bed and the next morning, my mom informed me the kitten had gone missing. Cici was meowing trying to inform us about it but even she didn’t know where the kitten went missing.

So, we wondered, where did they go and how?

I even searched the whole house trying to map the areas where the kitten might have run off to. I searched our storage rooms, every nook and crannies that I can think of but nothing. I didn’t ever hear any meows of kittens. It’s like the house has gone quiet since the kitten disappeared.

But that very day around evening, my mom spotted Mio, our cat transporting the kitten from our 2nd floor to downstairs. She was grabbing the kitten and looked very confused.

Mio is basically the kitten’s kidnapper but there’s more to that. After dropping Cici’s kitten, I followed the trail.

To my surprise, apparently Mio birthed 3 kittens that she hid under one of our wardrobes on the 2nd floor. It’s in the areas I could never think of she would hide them. We basically have this area abandoned and we really don’t care about this spot more than we like.

Under that cupboard I spotted all of Cici's kittens and an extra 3 kittens that were just born. The strangest part of them all is that Mio doesn’t seem like she’s just birthed babies.

She also confused Cici’s kitten to be hers and seems to always be trying to move them around and trying to “kidnap” the kitten. As much as we provide a clean box and a safer spot for her, She choses this part where it’s dirty that I don’t even go there. As you can see here, the brown kitten is actually Cici’s kitten and not hers. This brown/mocha kitten is separated from her siblings that live downstairs.

Our house is definitely becoming the house of cats, we now have 11 of them in the house. We really thought Cici’s kitten was the last but tada! Mio , Cici’s daughter, birthed more babies. One thing I am thankful of is basically the chocolate twin getting adopted by a friend of mine. I will only give it after the weaning period is over and my friend can actually have them.

𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘣𝘭𝘰𝘨, 𝘢 𝘳𝘦𝘧𝘭𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘭𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸𝘭𝘦𝘥𝘨𝘦. 𝘚𝘩𝘦 𝘰𝘧𝘵𝘦𝘯 𝘤𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘣𝘰𝘰𝘬𝘴, 𝘮𝘰𝘷𝘪𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘳𝘦𝘷𝘪𝘦𝘸𝘴, 𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘩 𝘳𝘦𝘷𝘪𝘦𝘸𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘴, 𝘱𝘩𝘰𝘵𝘰𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘱𝘩𝘺, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘥𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘱𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵.
