If I compare my love for dogs and cats, I always end up hating cats. So definitely, that would conclude that I love dogs! I don't know but even when I was a child having a dog pet in our family was what made me happy. It's just that they're so playful that you as a child can appreciate their presence so much.
Our First Dog
I was in Kinder when we had our first dog (as I remember). My family named him Bulldog even though he doesn't have that breed. He's an askal (Filipino word for stray mixed-breed dogs). Me and my brother loved him so much that we played with him every day. He was very playful, running all around even when he was so tired. He also loves hugging us with his sharp nails feet. Trying to be sweet but for us, it's painful.
One day, my Aunt was so angry blaming our dog for its victims. Bulldog bites my cousin and some of the schoolchildren. She wants us to kill that dog or remove him from our compound. To make the story short, they killed him brutally. To the point that my brother cried a lot seeing what happened. He even locked his room and didn't eat lunch. That's how we lost our first dog.
As of now, I have my own family... Still, I chose to have a pet dog. My father-in-law knew it so he gave us a dog named Lava.
This one is a smart dog and different from the other dogs I encountered. She loves going upstairs and just looking at nature.
Two months later, my cousin gave me another dog, and I named him Toby.
This one is so cute like I was taking care of a stuffed toy. Now we have 2 dogs, and they're doing well.
Hopefully, they grow healthy day by day and that already satisfies me. 😊
