Our beloved pet, Oreo, has already completed his first year of life and one year living with us (my wife Brenda and me); Well, he was just a few days old when we brought him home, pulling out all his nails because of fear
We have seen him grow and increase his skills, his ability to jump, his observation of everything around him, his love of getting into empty boxes and under blankets, his curiosity about mirrors, cell phones and new toys, but above all, their familiarity with us, their humans.
I am going to share two photographs from that past (previously published in a post from that time, in this community: https://hive.blog/hive-196708/@miguelarl/oreo-mi-mascota ): baby Oreo, so you can compare it to the current Oreo.
See how tiny he was?
In this second photo, you can see his fear when looking at the cell phone. All bristling with fear, she looked at him, her eyes very fixed though vibrating or trembling with fear; but she looked at it and looked at it, without moving away while she very slowly tried to touch it with a little paw.
I think that at that time his attraction to the cell phone was born, that is, to the camera, and he is now a model. Also, I must say, Brenda and Oreo understand each other very well for photography.
Now we go with the photo session, made for this publication, however, it may be that I published some on my social networks, because Oreo has me in love and I always share a photo.
Here, very serious. He poses seated, still and calm; without moving a whisker. Hahaha, I was going to say without blinking, because I feel so human that I forget that cats don't have eyelashes.
In this other shot, he is relaxed on one of his favorite blankets, resting his head on one of his front paws. He is so relaxed that he even lets part of his whiskers rest.
Almost the same pose, but facing forward and revealing its two front legs, which serve as a headrest. The very image of a moment of rest in the tranquility of the home.
And in this capture, the last one for today, we see him half-length, without stress in his eyes, but surely wondering what his human mother is doing, with that shiny piece that sometimes talks , circling, looking at him and repeating: Calm down, Oreo, don't move. Calm down, okay, calm down. And then he strokes it behind the ear, a treat Oreo gladly accepts and easily puts him to sleep.
