Today I come to share with you a mix of photos of our 2nd and 3rd visit to the Baquijano Cemetery as volunteers of Colectivo Aura.
On these 2 occasions @circogatto accompanied me, and we were able to take pictures of our feline friends with much better quality. Although the photos are all from the 2nd day, I will tell you why.
The protagonist of this post and of my visits to the cemetery so far is Trinity, a calico cat with one front and one back paw completely black, she has accompanied me since I entered the cemetery for the first time as a volunteer, in fact in the opportunity to catch a pregnant feral cat she helped me as a distraction, despite failing in the attempt. She is very photogenic and loves to be admired and to be affectionate, she is a beautiful love!

We continue with the most mischievous of the cemetery and perhaps of all Callao, the orange and white triplets that were abandoned a few weeks ago and that are growing very fast, at this moment they must have a month and a half at the most, there is a female and 2 males.
💙 And the cow 💙
Their feline skills are tremendously developed, they "hunt" anything that moves, they are very active, so far I have not seen them sleeping, clearly they are the youth of the cat patch.
Usually, I have seen them accompanied by the black and white cow, she was sterilized, not long ago, but I think she has that maternal instinct, because she always grooms them and accompanies them. She is also very affectionate, that is good because the baby kittens learn from her behavior.

Then we have a kitten that I just saw this time, we are not sure if it is female or male because is a little distrustful and we decided to keep some distance so he could feel comfortable and eat.
His little face and hairy body reminded me a lot of my Agatha Pelos.

There is also the faded yellow and the blackie, Jhon's personal friends.
They are excessively affectionate, Jhon jokingly said that we should change our cats for the black one, so we wouldn't notice his fur on our clothes, but I know he wouldn't be the same without Gato Luna and Agatha, and the responsibility they have made him feel.
On the next visit we had to deal with the Cemetery Security, some heartless people have abandoned 3 adult dogs, but of small size and we were quite busy with that, besides the usual chores, we could not take pictures or videos that time.
These are just some of the kitties in the Cemetery, there are really many, more than 100 I could say, as some of them live in the surroundings, but they go to eat, drink water and rest in this space where they feel safe. Most of the females are operated, this helps to reduce a little the population of cats that in spite of having a place where they have the same feeling of security, they can be considered "strays", and the idea of the Collective is to find homes for them. Hoy vengo a compartirles un mix de fotos con el recuento de lo que han sido nuestras 2.ª y 3.ª visita al Cementerio Baquijano como voluntarios del Colectivo Aura.
En estas 2 ocasiones @circogatto me acompaño, y pudimos tomar fotos de nuestros amigos felinos con mucha mejor calidad. Aunque las fotos son todas del 2.º día, ya les contaré el porqué.
La protagonista de este post y de mis visitas al cementerio hasta ahora es Trinity, una gata calicó con una patita delantera y otra trasera completamente negras, ella desde mi entrada al cementerio por primera vez me ha acompañado en las labores de voluntaria, de hecho en la oportunidad de atrapar a una gata feral embarazada me ayudo como distracción, a pesar de fallar en el intento. ¡Es muy fotogénica y le gusta mucho ser admirada y que le hagan cariños, es todo un amor hermoso!
Seguimos con los más traviesos del cementerio y quizás de todo el Callao, los trillizos naranja y blanco que fueron abandonados hace unas semanas y que van creciendo muy rápido, en este momento deben tener mes y medio cuando mucho, hay una hembra y 2 machos.
💜 Y la vaquita 💜
Sus habilidades felinas están tremendamente desarrolladas, “cazan” todo lo que se mueva, se mantienen muy activos, hasta ahora de las veces que he ido no los he visto dormir, claramente son la juventud del parche de gatos.
Usualmente, los he visto acompañados de la vaquita blanca con negro, ella fue esterilizada, no hace mucho, pero creo que le quedo ese instinto maternal, pues siempre los acicala y acompaña. Ella también es muy cariñosa, eso es bueno porque los gatitos bebes aprenden de su comportamiento.

Luego tenemos a un gatito que vi recién esta vez, no estamos seguros si es hembra o macho porque es un poco desconfiado y decidimos mantener distancia para que se sintiera cómodo y comiera.
Su carita y cuerpo peludo me recordaron mucho a mi Agatha Pelos.
💜 Son tan suavesitos 💜
También están el amarillito desteñido y el negrito, los amigos personales de Jhon.
Son excesivamente cariñosos, Jhon como broma dijo que deberíamos cambiar a nuestros gatos por el negrito, así no sé notaria su pelo en nuestra ropa, pero yo sé que él no sería el mismo sin Gato Luna y Agatha, y la responsabilidad que le han hecho sentir.
En la siguiente visita tuvimos que lidiar con los Seguridad del Cementerio, unos desalmados han abandonado a 3 perritos adultos, pero de tamaño pequeño y estábamos bastante ocupados con eso, además de las labores usuales, no pudimos tomar fotos ni videos esa vez.
Estos son apenas algunos de los gatis del Cementerio, realmente hay muchos, más de 100 podría decir, ya que algunos viven en los alrededores, pero van a comer, tomar agua y descansar a este espacio donde se sienten seguros. La mayoría de las hembras están operadas, esto ayuda a reducir un poco la población de gatos que a pesar de tener un lugar donde tienen la sensación de seguridad igual, pueden ser considerados “callejeros”, y la idea del Colectivo es encontrarles hogar.
