It's hard to cope with the death of a four-legged friend!

Hi, dear friends.

I am making my post in this community because I want to express my sadness this morning. I was supposed to post about something else, but this morning I received some bad news from my uncle.

Indeed, his big dog "Orsa" has died. Unfortunately, this makes me realize how hard it is for us humans to cope with the death of an animal. She was a dog I was very attached to since I was a child because she lived with me for many years, and after all these years, a certain bond forms. But it's really hard to understand and accept that, unfortunately, these animals live shorter lives than we do, so it's natural that in life you'll grieve for the loss of one of them.

My uncle had named her "Orsa" because he said she looked more like a polar bear than a dog, but she was so affectionate and sweet that she didn't scare practically anyone.

Naturally, he's also suffering from her death, but unfortunately, that's life. I definitely intend to give him a new dog, although this situation makes me reflect a lot, and it makes me realize that we should enjoy life with our four-legged friends to the fullest because, sadly, they live shorter lives than we do, so we mustn't waste time with them.

I confess that I hadn't felt this mix of very sad emotions for a while. It had been a bit of time since my own dog passed away, but I must say that even if these things happen to you more than once in life, you're never quite prepared to face it.

Because even though they might seem like animals, there's always an affectionate bond, and they become a part of your family and your life, so it's difficult to be without them.

Anyway, as I say, life goes on. I thank you if you've taken the time to read this post, and I'll see you in my next one!

I understand your pain perfectly, my dear. A few years ago, I also experienced the death of a dog that I adopted as a child. And she lived with us for 20 years in the village.

wow 20 years he lived a lot!!😍
