I get your thinking, but I wouldn't agree to it. The price for the service changed (doubled). But as a good supporter you earn a discount. (But that's repeating of my view... I realize your view.)

Yes. there are many service users which don't have/use any discount. Most users are faaaaar away from a 50% discount and pay more than before. That's okay in my view. The ROI is (I assume) the best ROI on any voting service on the chain - unrelated if any discount is applied or not. So I am fine with that. When I can deliver the most value voter + increase the CCD usage, I (should) go for it. Because I (and we as community) need to reduce the available CCD. And if it may be a little more expensive for some (or double for non-supporters), I have to & can live with it because it is still the most awesome voter with the biggest ROI + I/we have to increase the value of CCD & reduce the available CCD amount. I get the feel that your discount is just 6%, but in reality it is 56% - I really have this view.
However, I'm now going to be receiving half of the vote that I previously received...
I get your view and respect that. But I would say "No". Check out the available HP. It almost doubled since new system was introduced. So at the end you could say (because of your discount) "I only pay half for what I received before.". Because for the actual HTU you receive, you paid 1000 CCD in the past. Now less than 500. And all this during the price for the service has doubled.
I really get your view, but when you include more circumstances it is more like "I only pay half for what I received before - unrelates that the price has doubled."

Yes, let's see how I implement them. It would be a very serious dedication for which I have to be able to afford it. But I am looking forward to it and time is coming closer to start this aspect.
