Why after all these years do I still find movie’s intriguing even though I might be able to predict their end from the start. It’s quite easy. When I start a movie, series or book I find myself immersed in a reality that supersedes my wildest imagination, I’m drawn in by the numerous what if’s, what if he had died, what if she hadn’t walked away, what if she could be bolder, can I ever be that bold, is this girl like me, what can I learn from this to influence my manner of thinking and response, will this make me a better person. So many questions and instances I draw out from these movies, it is so exhilarating and it never ends.
Let me give you an instance with the movie series Lupin. I believe all his adventures would have been avoided if his father hadn’t given him the lupin book or better still if his boss hadn’t imprisoned him falsely. Now I love the adventure and obvious plain sighted disguises but what if it had been different will Asan Diop still end up in jail at the third season, this mind boggling exercise is why I will always like to watch a good movie during my free time, the infinite possibilities to learn new words, experience and be immersed in it all helps a bit with the daily routine of life.
