It's been quite a while since i wrote anything on hive blockchain. Recently i came across a game that is being developed on hive blockchain and that is the game i am talking about.
I am talking about Golem Overlord, the game that gave outstanding stats in terms of number of users and earnings.
Being an Early Adopter
If you are a early adopter of this game i.e a player who started playing within first three days then you will know the difference between the earnings then vs now.
Even i joined after the game was almost ten days old and i have seen and understand the benefit of joining this game early.
Generally early adopters are the ones who have benefit of owning in game item at low price and also they have opportunity to earn more compared to the other players who will join late.
In golem game the case was not the same. The players who joined early spent more money in the game to reach on the top. I invested 60 hive approx out of which 30 hive was for joining the game and rest was used for buying the reward token ( part token ) that are used for upgrading in game properties like power, fortification ( defence), etc.
The second thing was also common in this game i.e we earned alot during the initial days. Even with low upgrades i was earning 2-4 hive daily but today even after having alot better upgrades i am able to earn at max 2 hive.
The good thing is that, if you want to try this game out then you can still do it with very little investment. As of my knowledge the joining fees is already 40 hive so 10 hive on top of those 40 hive makes a total of 50 hive.

So, for 10 hive you will get 62 parts ( at current market price ) tokens that you can use to give a push start after you join the game.
Now these two benefits were about investment done by a player and earnings generated by the same. But in my opinion there was other things as a benefit that i think are more valuable compared to two things we saw above.
There were Special title given to the players who joined the game on the very first day and that is something we can not earn even after spending money.
Apart from that a early adopter get's a chance to understand the game better and adapt to new version of games in better way compared to new players.
We as early adopters enjoyed the opportunity of mining without paying for scavenger golems that got reduced every hour.
We enjoyed some special events that have us multipliers on different stuff. And yes i can't forget about the 75% burn rate that was enjoyed by early adopters.
Now new players have to burn atleast 80% of their earnings on daily basis.
We learnt battle tactics that include attack and defence both. A new player will experiment but we are atleast stable and can work on the strategy already created by us after experimenting again and again.
