The Leofinance community and the ongoing campaign is indeed opening my mind towards creativity and trying out something new. This is me exploring the art world and realising it isn't as difficult to try as I had thought it'd be. I do have a brother who is so good at drawing and sketching but he's almost never at home and even when he is, he gives the excuse of no chance to just watch me and correct me when I'm drawing an image wrongly 😅
Regardless of that, I decided to try the artist quest anyways and I'm happy to see the outcome I'm having even though it's not as cool as many I've seen.
For this quest, I'm to draw a lion that has just powered to show support to the community (A role model Lion)
I got a pen and paper for the new adventure, it isn't my first but it's a first after a very long time and I had never drawn a lion before. I searched for an image I could make a move on and I found one, it took me some time to get a grasp of what I need to do to go to the next stage 😅
I started with the head of the Lion, the hair and then added the eye and ear... The hair was a little hard work for me, I couldn't figure out how to make it look like it's actually the hair but looking at the finished work, I think it's close lol.

After the head, I drew the body of the lion. I wanted my drawing to be big but I guess I'll need more practice to make such happened seeing how the drawing came out a little smaller. The leg part wasn't easy and same with the tail, I had to erase and do them over before it got to this and I'm still not satisfied with this though.
Seeing that I was done drawing or should I say, sketching, I shaded the hair of the lion with my pencil for more visibility on my paper. Seems I used a dull paper so my work didn't show well enough. I also made the lines of the drawing more visible by going over the drawing again.
So here is a close up image of the lion after I was done. And the final work has the name and my signature on it.
I really hope it's good enough for viewing, I'm trying to find the artist in me and hopefully, I'll get better at this through the Campaign quests and more opportunities to come. I think I have some artistry spirit in me, will have to work more on bringing it out.
