It's a month-long break for me and today I am travelling to Mumbai, my favorite place in this whole world, my home. When I say it's a vacation, which does not mean it's all play time, there is lot of work also to be done, but yes there are a lot of celebrations also during this period. I will be busy around my new house work, for which I will be on and off travelling to the location. And then I have 4 weddings to attend in a span of 10 days. That's a lot, but I cannot avoid since they are of my very close friends. It's also the main reason why I have planned my holidays around this time.
Today I am travelling alone, and in a week's time hubby will join me. I keep travelling often, but he has not taken a break since a long time due to his work commitments. I am glad that he can make it for this one and take his well deserved break and enjoy the time. It is also Christmas and New Year and I would not want to celebrate it without him, so arrives just before Christmas.
I have completed my check-in and now waiting at the Lounge and writing this post. It's a short flight of 2.30 hrs, very soon I will be home. Already feeling so excited.
The other thing I have to take care about is, since the last few couple of visits I have been noticing that I develop a throat infection during my stay in Mumbai. The pollution level is high there and that gives me this problem. In Muscat the air is very clean and pollution is very less, so over a period of time my body has become intolerant towards the high level of my city pollution. This time I need to be extra careful about it and possibly wear a mask at certain places, which I absolutely hate but then it's better to take some precaution. I do not wish to end up with a bad throat during my holidays. I look forward to spending time with my Son and his girl friend.
On the flight I am going to enjoy my breakfast and the french vanilla & rose tea, which is becoming my favorite on my journey every time. See you all tomorrow from other side of the world. Till then Good bye and a good day to all.
