I welcome you to my blog. The one thing that destroys mother earth and affects nature so badly is human activities, when we look around closely we come to realise that things are no longer like they used to be, climate change even the weather condition becomes confusing sometimes we when we expect a cold weather we get a hot one and when we expect a hot one we get a cold one all these are as a result of human activities. Human activities alters nature and this always occurs because many people care little or less about the good of our environment.
Some individuals feel it is not their duty to have the best interests of their environment at heart instead it is the duty of the government to do that, so they do nothing to help make the environment a safe and enjoyable one. It is the duty of everyone to take care of our environment as doing that is not a one man job, one man cannot take care of the environment which is why we are all saddled with that responsibility. In order to make our environment safe, all hands must be on deck in every little way one can they should help keep our environment safe and below are few ways to do that.
Afforestation: Human activities like building of houses and construction of roads requires that trees be cut down which exposes the soil and us to more heat and direct contact from the sun since the ozone layer has depleted too due to human activities as well, planting of trees is one way to help control climate change.
Reduced plastics usage: Growing up I thought everything decays overtime but it is not so in the case of plastics which is why we have to control the use of plastics and learn how to dispose them properly either by incineration or we practice recycling as disposing plastics off on the streets affects our environment. Many people are guilty of disposing plastics on the streets not knowing those plastics can there for years and still not decay which affects our environment as well as disrupt agricultural environment. In the case of plastic control we can practice the three Rs (Reduce, Reuse and recycle), that way the number of plastics hitting the streets are reduced to bare minimum.
Clean ups: There are individuals who like when other people get the job done and they just end up enjoying it but would never participate. In order to take care of environments which in the end will be beneficial to everyone, we are urged to participate and engage in clean ups when called upon
