I have come to realize that, as a parent, there are some things we do not need to stress ourselves with, and that's because when we grow up and bear children, we tend to teach them different morals and manners of behaviours. We guide them and also advise them on what they are to do and what not to do. But along the line, we notice that whatever we tell some of them might not yield any positive impact. This is because, for everyone on earth, we have our own decisions to make regardless of whatever we are told or advised about. It is our choice to either follow the instructions or not.
What prompted me to share this? I woke up this morning, and while I was having my meditation, I remembered some things that my dad has always told me about life and about the responsibility that goes with the lifestyle of an adult. When I remembered, I was so emotional, and I said to myself, I wish I was able to comprehend this when he was talking to me then. Actually, I was never a wayward person, so I was happy I still took to most of the things he told me, but there are still some things that we will never understand as children because we do not have the ability to comprehend what we were told.
Now I remember why sometimes when I correct some kids, even when they are not my siblings, and they feel you are doing the wrong thing to them. This is because they do not have the intellect to carry what you are saying, and you can only understand yourself because you have been through that stage. That is why most of the kids in these generations will do things in an outright manner, and they will still derive pleasure from it. That's because they do not see it as something bad.

They will not see you as a good person because they will only see you as a problem, stopping them from having fun when they have the time. That is why there are always elders in every setting who can oversee the affairs of the younger ones regardless of which denomination or the amount they are.
In this youth stage we are in, I know it is very hard sometimes to keep up, but trust me, we just have to discipline ourselves not to lose the little home training we have been using since all these years because when things backfire, and we see that we have messed up our lives while we were still young, it will be so hard to rewrite it when we are now adults, and it might also affect our future or affect those that comes from our lineage. We should always have second thoughts before we embark on a journey that will ruin us, and we also need to be very wise because life is fun and holds a lot of damages too.
