As we all know, the inflation period is a time when prices of goods and services increase, but immediately after this happens, it's no longer news that basically everyone in almost all sectors increases their demands in order to meet up with the new price and avoid being dented by the effect of the inflation. But among all these, the public servants seem to have no hiding place because regardless of what happens, the salary remains the same.
Immediately inflation hit a particular place, everyone tries to be on the safe side, not minding how it affects those around them in as much as they would be on the losing side, and that's why in such a situation you realize the prices of everything have increased, from transportation to food items and other basic needs, while others immediately put the new price changes into consideration before stating their new price demands.
But unlike all these other sectors and private bodies, the public servants have no where to run to. His wages won't be increased due to inflation, yet he has to pay extra fees for transportation, feeding, and other basic needs, to name a few. It's quite ridiculous, and when he tries to protest in demand of a pay raise, he's threatened with losing his job.
I'm fortunate to have a backing for myself because I'm a public servant myself in my country, and I know how everyone exploits the inflation happening all around to favor them and not render them bankrupt. Hopefully things will change for the better and the public servants will not just have a voice but a backing that increases their wages each time inflation arises.
Thanks so much for reading through my post, have a blessed and productive day.
