Recently, there's been a kind of change in weather and my birds are also adapting to the weather. Since the past few days, we have been moving from harmattan period to heat period but the degree isn't as high as when the weather was hot before the harmattan period came last year. Birds ain't what you can just leave alone doing other things. One has to be with them and observe how they are fairing with the change in weather. The weather isn't that hot like the former one but it is still liable to cause heat stress on the birds.
BRINGING THE DRINKERS CLOSER TO THE BIRDS.
The degree of the weather isn't that hot but it can make the birds lazy at times. That's why you see them sitting at a point, they will be lazy to even drink water from the water drinkers. You will just observe that their water consumption will be reduced but then when you take the water drinkers to the birds you will see them rushing to drink the water. Even they might finish the water within a second. One just has to stick around and see how they are fairing with the birds.
So nowadays,have been home, sticking around to take care of the birds in one way or the other,most especially to assist with their lazy ways of consuming water just to improve their water consumption quantity.......
