Introduction
Good day to everyone, a week had passed in the city and it's time to update the progress of my city and the things that happen in the city. In today's post, I will continue to look at the prices of cards and their trend that I have been monitoring to further build up my city. City building is an ongoing process, so active monitoring of card prices is important.

What is dCity?
The game is a city simulator game based on Hive NFTs where one can create a city the way we want it to be. As players develop and grow their cities, optimization is needed in terms of buildings, city population, the income that the city yields and technological developments. While many aspects of the game can be calculated based on the simulator within the game, there is a portion of randomness in the form of crisis event which can bring different kind of impact to city which affects income or popularity. If you like the original SimCity, I am sure you will like this.

My City
The below screenshot is how my city looks like at this moment. Added a new Ice Cream shop to resolve the unemployment issue. Made some SIM this week as well from young citizen sales too.

With unemployed citizen currently at 1, I cannot be waiting for things to happen and only panic later when unemployment increase with students graduating then hunt the market to make purchases that will make it not worth it.

Market Monitoring
Similar to previous, I am consistently monitoring cards that I would like to add to my city.

I'll start off with Building Cards.

Ice Cream Shop

This card pricing has been hovering in the range of 650SIM.
The card brings 8 income with 3 workers which is considered high income to worker ratio. I have a couple of this which is the engine of my income for my city.

Barber Shop

Another card that have high income to worker ratio and somehow it closed at a good price recently in the 250+ SIM range. I probably have missed the boat as 250 is a very good price to pick up this card.

Music Store

Another card belonging to the same high income to worker ratio. Card also landing at 650+ SIM. I haven't own one yet but it is essentially similar to that of Ice Cream Shop and Barber Shop.

These are 3 building cards that I hope to get more copies of them because they are relatively low priced and also need the least number of workers to make them active.

Next I will move onto citizen cards. It will be 2 of the "eco" cards which is also the backbone of my collection.

Economist is a well rounded nice card with high income and also gives 1 tax rebate which is very important. This card has been on a steady rise in terms of pricing and currently hovering in the 1500SIM, but to me this is a good card to own which explains the price.

Eco-activist, another amazing card that I slowly trying to build up its numbers as well. However this card is costly and do not bring in income like how economist does. So preference will still be economist over this. Price is hovering about 2700 SIM. My assessment is that it is still a worthy buy especially because of the tax refund.

Current SIM Holdings
At the moment of writing, the current amount of SIM I am holding has reached 138,291 SIM. Quite a decent increase as I continue to increase the holdings because of young citizen sales.

Why Hold SIM?
This is reminder to all that holding SIM (or commonly known as SIM Power) brings about daily liquid hive if one having above 8000 SIM Power. SIM Power is calculated by the from the 30 days average SIM holdings.

With the increase in SIM in my Hive Engine, my 30 day average is will likely see a few days of Sim Power increase. Amount of liquid Hive per day based on current 30 day average is as seen below:

Assuming no increase in Sim Power, I will get 0.78 liquid Hive per month. The numbers continue to increase and building towards the goal I had for using the liquid Hive to fund for Hive Power Up Day. At this moment, it look a little far-fetch, however as I continue to grow, one day I know I will reach there.

Closing
Card price monitoring is something important so as to land good purchases to increase city income earning. While it takes quite a bit of investment to get the income improved, it is still worthy in the long run as the income comes back in a daily basis. Active monitoring will help us look out for opportunities to land cards on a lower price.

Special thanks to @ryosai for always answering my questions on the game, guiding me through with your patience and even helping me with my city growth.

Looking forward to the journey of growing the city!
