Mood Shifts & The Law of Vibration

in #hive-1992754 days ago

My latest assignment from within my journaling group is part of a class teaching the 7 Universal Laws. In some circles, they are referred to as the "Hermetic" or "Khemetic" laws. These laws are the underlying, inescapable "code" that is inherent in all things in our existence. If you're not familiar, let's cover them in brief:

  1. The Principle of Mentalism
  2. The Principle of Correspondence
  3. The Principle of Vibration
  4. The Principle of Polarity
  5. The Principle of Rhythm
  6. The Principle of Cause & Effect
  7. The Principle of Gender

For this assignment, we were tasked to closely monitor our mood shifts throughout the week and identify activities that raise or lower our vibration and journal the results.

Identifying The Triggers

First order of business was to "identify activities" that have noticeable changes on my mood. This is paramount. Without a high level of self-observation it's borderline impossible to make these type of improvements. When I say "improvements" I mean the ability to monitor your mood and shift it at will once you become the "observer". We must identify what experiences in our lives trigger certain moods and feelings. When these vibrational triggers take place, its important to note that they are largely due to the result of our brain releasing certain "cocktails" instantaneously, based on our perception of these experiences.

Low Triggers

TriggerEffect
Too much screen timedistraction from purpose; decreased creativity
Low vibration food (refined sugar, high sodium snacks, etc.)lack of energy, poor sleep quality, lack of mental stamina
Working overnightpoor sleep quality, circadian rhythm off
Watching "Bad News"creates a focus on lack and diminishes optimism

High Triggers

TriggerEffect
Readingsparks creativity, broadens perspective
Exerciseheart-rate variability, reinforces all other commitments
Prayer/Meditationabsolute peace, gratitude, self-reflection
Nutrient-dense foodshigh energy
Writing/Journalingmental release, alignment with purpose

Examing the Law

To foundational concept of the Law of Vibration states that "nothing rests; everything moves; everything vibrates". This constant state of vibration manifests on an endless scale from the grossest forms of matter to the highest forms of spirit. There is an infinite number of combinations and modes of vibration between these two poles. This infinite number of combinations express themselves on the mental, physical, and spiritual planes. Discovering and utilizing the relationships between these expressions is the primary goal.

Pursuing any level of mastery over this principle (and any of them for that matter) first starts with self-mastery and as I stated before, self-observation. By identifying the activities that have noticeable effects on my mood, I now have the ability to actively observe and counter, or reinforce those triggers. Constantly acting on those abilities is the key. This is what gives you access to what is commonly referred to as a "high-vibrational" or "flow" state.

It wasn't until after I went through this exercise that I realized that everyone attempts to use this law on the physical plane, whether they are cognizant of it or not. This speaks to the truth that "the law is all-pervading". Think about it, most of us know exactly what stimuli makes us produce happy chemicals or sad chemicals. This stimuli can be received - through the five senses (physical); produced - by imagination and/or creativity (mental); or a combination of both - through meditation and/or prayer (spiritual).

To illustrate that point:
Most people attempt to counter their "bad triggers" with physical stimuli only. Their favorite song, favorite food, favorite vice, addiction, etc. What we don't realize is that if the source of the "bad trigger" lies on the mental or spiritual plane, physical solutions are like a band-aid on a gunshot wound. Their rate of vibration isn't high enough to eradicate the problem at its core.

Typically, it takes a certain level of mental-fortitude that is evident in most successful (by their own standards) individuals to operate on the higher planes of mentalism and spirituality. As the Taoist say, "you must tame the monkey mind". One doesn't have to be spiritual to do this. This is evident in the fact that one trait we can find present in pretty much all successful business owners and investors is the ability to hyper-focus on the outcomes that they want and nothing else. They really take "staying positive" to the extreme (end of the pole, wink wink).

This high-vibrational thinking is kryptonite to low-vibrational physicality. Even higher, mastery of vibration on the spirit plane is where we start to see miracles, magic, acts of God, and other things that are considered "supernatural". Why are these things incomprehensible to the rational mind? Look no further than the Book of Isaiah 55:8 which states:

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
Isaiah 55:8

In closing, I hope this writing motivates you to be in a constant state of observation - of the vibrations you receive, emit, and circulate. "Grasp the sceptre".

Peace & Prosperity
