another poem from the vault. :P this is more of a love poem. Longing for love really.😅 Pretty sure this one hasn't been posted elsewhere but just in case. It is MY POEM :)

The End Of Night
This a letter for the woman, that I have yet to meet,
one who makes me smile inside, and my past seem obsolete.
I will give you at least as much happiness, as you can give to me.
And I will always hold you close, when your tears are flowing free.
I will be your loyal hound, who lays at your feet to growl,
And when you are gone away from me, I will scratch on the door and howl.
I will write you poetry, always telling you of how I feel,
And all I’ll ever want from you, is that your love for me be real.
Although I’ve never met you, i miss you like the flower misses the sun,
knowing that without you, i will wilt and be undone.
But I have yet to meet your rays, still just a seed laying in the ground,
Waiting for the sun to rise, and hope you like what you have found.
And though I don’t even know your face, I know I’ll see your light.
Because I have waited my whole life for you, waiting for the end of night.
