Caroline (Song 4 - LP Georgie Borgie)

in #hive-199275last month

Work in progress, first version of this song, specially made for my wife. I did the lyrics, as my poem. I did the music. I am not that good with the video side. So I just generated a picture for the audio file.

I will show it to her tomorrow to study her reaction. I hope for some fun.

Straight from the street
Oh, Caroline, now you are mine,
Remember the feeling,
When you were a Billing,
Two weddings later, no wine, no sake
Welcome home, Missus Mihalache!

Started to work in a whole new place,
Someone was smiling in there,
Someone little and nice,
I got totally lost in your blue eyes.

Asking about you, not too much fuss,
Until accidentally we met on the bus,
Didn’t know how high is the bar,
Only time when you were not using your car.

I didn’t mean to be mean, first date
February fourteen, Valentine’s Day,
Lucky me, not much to say
About it, much like a wedding in September
Just another date so easy to remember.

Who’s the lucky one, you or me?
Ok I'll let you be the winner, let me be
The sinner, the light to your darkness,
Malta, Oslo, Lock Ness,
Marrakesh, Fes, God bless,

Memories starting to fade,
As I go under the blade,
Much too soon, dark side of the moon,
Liverpool. Pull the trigger,
Make it bigger, better,
You know that we will grow old together.
Trendsetter, settler, nether.

Gods among men, men among gods,
Two peas in one pod, pods, rods
Different lots, different places,
You were looking good even with braces,
Hackers on the nets, power bracelets, face.
Face it, you and me,
We were meant to be, we wed,
Slept in the same bed,
You still steal my blanket
Every night, right?
We cannot fight. On sight,
Insight or premonition,
Song, painting, exhibition, ambition
We are here, now, not only for the show.
Well?

Oh, Caroline, now you are mine,
Remember the feeling,
When you were a Billing,
Two weddings later, no wine, no sake
Welcome home, Missus Mihalache!

Hey, not too shabby, kudos.

Nice work! Love seeing poetry turned into music, anf its pretty catchy too!

Next time can we get the lyrics posted with it as well so it's in keeping with the written word focus of the community?

I'm sure your wife will love it 😀

Added to the post.

Thanks! I appreciate it! !PIZZA
