Hello Scholars & Scribes!
It's been a while since we've partied with Dreemport, so we're excited to hang out with them again this month.
The challenges are simple, and Dreemport will run one every week for 3 weeks.
- Based on a prompt, write some fiction (aim for 400+ words), and post it in the Scholar & Scribe community. The fiction does not need to be serialized.
- The first 3 Thursdays in June will be submission day—use the Dreemport website to enter your fiction into the Dreemport curation system. If you're new to how this works, read up on it here.
- Winners will be decided every Friday, and they will be automatically shortlisted for Scholar & Scribe's Author of the Week program (which has very nice prizes, learn more here).
- We will also be encouraging you to share your links, quotes from your stories, etc. on Leo Threads—a new, Hive-based microblogging service (like Twitter but Hive'd up!) Leo Finance also helps fund the Author of the Week prizes. Use hashtags #scholarandscribe or #dreemport.
- There will be other surprise announcements, mini-challenges, and fun stuff all throughout this collaboration!
So to summarize:
- Write fiction based on a prompt, 400+ words
- Post it in Scholar & Scribe, following our community guidelines
- Thursdays June 8, 15, and 22: submit your post to Dreemport
- Fridays: Winners chosen, they get prizes!
- Fridays through Sundays: vote for Scholar & Scribe Author of the Week (more prizes!)
- All throughout: share & discuss the fiction on Leo Threads (upvotes, prizes!?)
