Take a good look at my glass heart
It has lost all its shine, fallen apart
It was just so easy for you to look away
No eye contact, no dance, no sway
I wished to be with you, but now I lost hope
I don't want to live with memories, which are too old
I think you knew I was not good enough for you
But you led me believe I was soft like mountain dew
You looked at me like there was no one in the world but me
But later you felt disappointed, cause there was nothing to “see”
You said, “No, thank you! I will find my fire elsewhere”
But I saw that you were lost here and there!
You did not give “Us” a chance because of your pride
You thought that life will always give a good ride
Here I am left with a broken heart
To fully heal, it is surely an art
