Blodshelgonen (Blood Saints)
The Blood Saints are this Chapter’s equivalent of the Sanguinary Guard. They are the most pure and noble warriors of the Chapter while still being exceptionally brutal and savage. These traits are shown in their armor colors as well.
They are painted a pure metallic white with the standard gray/black Power Pack. Their arms and legs however are painted in a red gradient that imitates the blood of Mankind’s enemies. The helmets are painted white except for Sergeants which have a deep candy red color.
These Blood Saints are primarily used as Honorguard units for high ranking members in standard Power Armor. Great Huntsman Archus Sebatun for example has a five man squad that guards him at all times when in combat. These warriors have to be particularly on point however as Archus has been known to wander off to find the strongest opponent on the battlefield.
Blood Saints, much like their counterpart- the Edarna- are sworn to an oath of silence, never speaking or so much as grunting in response to pain. This is so that they may maintain their purity and purpose, to keep vigilant and spread no words of falsehood.
The Blodshelgonen are led by Commander Lucifer Devnand, who has been leading these fine warriors for over two centuries now.
The Edarna (The Oathers)
The Oathers are the Chapter’s secondary Honor Guard unit composed entirely out of 10 Cataphractii Terminators. These ancient suits of titanic armor are piloted by members of the first company who have been in service for at least 300 years and have extended experience with other Tactical Dreadnought Armours. The Edarna are primarily assigned to guard the Basilisk’s Prime Hunter, Garther Tasul. The Chapter Master.
Rarely are their full numbers ever used, instead split in half with 5 members at his side while the other 5 are either assigned to guard their Fortress Monastery or another high value member of their Chapter, usually someone who is also in Terminator armor.
The Oathers sport a standard Terminator coloring, with some choosing to keep the original parent Chapter’s. These are usually worn by the Sergeants.
