I can't believe we're already in the last week of February, can you? There weren't too many interactions this week, but we've gathered some highlights for you.
First our usual thank you everyone who makes this community what it is, including @minismallholding who's always looking up for your posts and support them in any possible way she can. This week 5% beneficiaries for interaction and contribution to the HomeEdders community go to:
• @romeskie
• @minismallholding
In her post, @romeskie discusses about her exploring Charlotte Mason's "Towards a Philosophy of Education", focusing on Chapter 5 about The Sacredness of Personality. It emphasizes the importance of respecting children's individuality and highlights how methods like fear, love, suggestion and influence can either hinder or nurture a child's personality.
In her post, @leomarylm shares with us this week a fun coloring educational activity using simple materials to create a recognizing patterns and sequences game board with frogs and arrows. The purpose of this activity is to stimulate reasoning, logic and visual perception.
Are you looking for an Educational game to reinforce the multiplication table? Because @emmaris just shared an idea about this one, coming with other learning benefits like concentration, problem solving and fine motor skills.
Her DIY activity involves making mathematical operations on one side of the cardboard and their results on the other side, then creating openings for threading through.
Are you in the mood for some crafts? Here you have a lovely idea coming from @mdakash62 using nature elements. It's about making artwork featuring a mermaid and fish using natural materials like leaves and paper. I'm sure there are kids that would love to try this!
Thank you for joining us. This curation was brought to you by @missdeli and this week I have added @justinparke as 10% beneficiary for the ongoing delegation support. Thank you!
