It's been a quieter couple of weeks in the community again, which is probably week timed as the moderators have had a busy couple of weeks offline. It's been lovely to come back in and catch up properly, though.
First our usual thank you everyone who makes this community what it is. This week 5% beneficiaries for interaction and contribution to the HomeEdders community go to:
• @rafzat
• @yellow74
• @emmaris
It's been a while since @kattycrochet shared some of learning wisdom with us, so it was lovely to see her back. This week she shared ideas for teaching the weather and seasons in English as a second language. I feel like these methods would work for any other language you might wish to teach as well.
@emmaris shared a fun looking maths activity using a calculator template. I'm not sure how often we'd come by a similar looking lid with the holes, but perhaps we can still make the calculator with other lids or even laminate a paper one to make it reusable.
I love that a visit to a homeschooling gala started a journey of creating bead accessories for @romeskie's daughter. Of course as homeschooling parents is always easy to see the learning opportunities that can come from a child's interest.
Last week @leomarylm shared a visual and spatial perception game she created and played with her girls. Once again incorporating multiple skills into one activity; in this case art and maths.
Thank you for joining us. This curation was brought to you by @minismallholding and this week I have added @mattclarke as 10% beneficiary for the ongoing delegation support. Thank you!
