MY ART WORK,MY PRIDE.
Hello hivers, it's been a great day. We had teachers craft week in our school,we were told to make a craft that can motivate learners, everyone came up with something they are good at and I choose to make from different colours of sheets,a beautiful and unique creature "peacock".
A peacock is a large bird with beautiful coloured feathers. Apart from its unique beauty,it represents power,strength,confidence and divinity.
Apart from these attributes,I also use the name of this creature as an acronym for other motivational and educative words.
The following steps were used to achieve it:
Choose colours,make a sketch of the bird,
cut out shapes for the feathers,apply gum,then paste on the sketch to get a beautiful picture craft.
Guess what! Mine was selected as the picture of the day.
I used this art work as a tool to motivate learners in their academic pursuits. Learners gets to know that peacock is a very beautiful and lovely bird, it's beauty attracts people's attention. It's also a bird that everyone would love to have as a pet.
As students,one needs to be beautiful intellectually and physically. Once you are beautiful intellectually,you will be cheerished by everyone,you will be awarded, people will always want to be your friend because they know you have something worth more than gold. To achieve this,one must always remember the beautiful bird known as peacock and take positive steps as follows:
Every child must know why he or she is in school and what he want to achieve. That's the p for "purpose".
Every child must work towards achieving that purpose by being active and serious with academics in preparation for evaluation. That's the e for "explore".
Every child must always be ready to give out the best on every academic task given,having the picture of his purpose at heart. For example,if you want to be a medical doctor,teacher etc,the idea of becoming such should urge you to study hard. That's the a for "ambitious".
Every child must not allow himself to be influenced negatively but rather be focused. That takes us to c for committed.
Every child must do the right thing at the right time and also apply wisdom in everything he does. That's o for "organised".
Every child must always be eager to learn new things,be happy and maintain a smiley face because smiles makes one look beautiful. That's c for "cheerful".
Finally,every child must always treat others nicely,portray good characters,not forgetting the magic words while associating with other. That's k for " kind".
Having considered all these points and other good qualities,we can be as beautiful as that bird"peacock" to make our parents,society and our country,so proud of us.
