Greetings Hivers friends and the Homeedders community. I'm happy to stop by and share how my 4-year-old little girl's school project ended up being closed. The theme of the third period regarding the school project was "Little Gardeners" and as such, on Friday, they had to attend with clothing for this role, profession, occupation or practice dedicated to planting, harvesting, care and maintenance of gardens.
Saludos Hivers amigos y de la comunidad Homeedders. Me alegra pasar por acá y compartir como termino de ser cerrado el proyecto escolar de mi pequeña de 4 años. La temática del tercer lapso en cuanto al proyecto escolar fue "Pequeños jardineros" y como tal debía el día viernes asistir con la indumentaria a este rol, profesión, ocupación o practica dedicada a la siembra, la cosecha, cuidado y mantenimiento de jardines.
Since it was the last day of homework and school presentations, my daughter attended as requested by the teacher with the gardeners' clothing or in that case for those children who did not have this clothing in green sweaters. My little girl was very excited to attend school like this; Therefore, she asked me to take several photos of her before arriving at school and when we were at school.
Ya siendo el último día de tareas y presentaciones escolares mi niña asistió tal como solicito la maestra con la indumentaria de jardineros o en tal caso para aquellos niños que no tuviesen este vestuario en suéter verde. Mi pequeña estaba muy emocionada de asistir así a la escuela; por lo que, me pidió tomarle varias fotos antes de llegar en la escuela y cuando estábamos en esta.
When we arrived at school, each child had already started their presentations on plants that bear fruit, since we were delayed for a few minutes, but we still arrived at a good time. My daughter was happy to see me sitting next to her in the small chair adapted to early education children, there as if I were also another child in her classroom.
Al llegar a la escuela ya había empezado cada niño sus exposiciones sobre plantas que dan frutos, puesto que nos demoramos unos minutos, pero llegamos aun así a buena hora. Mi niña se sentía contenta de verme sentada a su lado en la pequeña silla adaptada a niños de educación inicial, allí como si fuese yo también una niña más en su salón de clases.
After each presentation with the help of each child's moms, the classroom teachers told us to go to where the school garden or garden was, where a day before we had planted with our little ones a plant that bore fruit and where each one had to say what plant It was the one they took. My girl found her little banana plant again; which, she observed with great tenderness and pride in her work.
Luego de cada exposición con ayuda de las mamis cada niño, las maestras del aula nos indicaron ir hacia donde estaba el huerto o conuco escolar, donde un día antes habíamos sembrado con nuestros pequeños una planta que diera fruto y donde cada uno debía decir que planta era la que llevaron. Mi niña se encontró de nuevo con su pequeña planta de cambur; la cual, ella observaba con mucha ternura y orgullosa de su trabajo.
Really, the work of the teachers must be congratulated since having so many young preschool children in their classrooms and some with so much hyperactivity and restlessness is not easy at all. But they are always there very happy, creative and willing to educate in the best way, even though the salary in Venezuela is so low and even more so for a teacher; Ethics and vocation have kept them fighting, providing their knowledge to each boy and girl who passes through their hands and classrooms.
Realmente, hay que felicitar el trabajo de las maestras ya que tener tantos niños pequeños de educación inicial en sus aulas y algunos con tanta hiperactividad e inquietos no es nada fácil. Pero ellas siempre están allí muy alegres, creativas y dispuestas en educar de la mejor manera, a pesar que el salario en Venezuela es tan bajo y más aun para un docente; la ética y vocación las han mantenido en pie de lucha brindando de sus conocimientos a cada niño como niña que pasa por sus manos y aulas de clase.
I want to tell you that the classroom was decorated with green balloons, a banner with the title of the project, added to a table where the party favors and gift-length balloons were for each student. The children sang a song about the plants and then each one was happy with their reward for such beautiful work, effort and dedication of each one at their young ages.
Quiero contarles que el aula de clases estaba ambientada con globos de color verde, una pancarta con el título del proyecto, sumado a una mesa donde se encontraban los cotillones y globos de los largos de regalo para cada estudiante. Los niños entonaron una canción sobre las plantas y luego cada uno feliz con su recompensa por tan lindo trabajo, esfuerzo y dedicación de cada uno a sus cortas edades.
¿What do children learn by playing at being gardeners?
They learn about nature in a fun and entertaining way.
They are taught to take care of plants.
Carrying out gardening activities allows children to work on their senses, since they perceive the smell of plants, flowers, moist soil, the sounds of leaves colliding with each other in the breeze, the images they capture, the colors, shapes of each plant; as well as touching them, feeling their texture, the sand in your hands and the work tools for planting, among other things.
Working in the area of nature makes them more sensitive and aware of caring for the earth.
Generates a feeling of calm and concentration.
Manage children's restlessness, anxiety and depression.
They learn and interact with the environment around them.
We manage to foster curiosity and respect for nature.
¿Qué aprenden los niños jugando a ser jardineros?
Aprenden de manera divertida y muy entretenida sobre la naturaleza.
Se les enseña a cuidar las plantas.
Realizar actividades sobre la jardinería permite trabajar los sentidos de los niños y niñas, puesto que perciben el olor de las plantas, flores, tierra húmeda, los sonidos de las hojas al chocar unas con otras por la brisa, las imágenes que captan, los colores, formas de cada planta; así como tocarlas sentir su textura, la arena en las manos y las herramientas de trabajo para plantar, entre otras cosas más.
Trabajar el área de la naturaleza los hace más sensibles y conscientes del cuidado de la tierra.
Genera sensación de calma y concentración.
Gestiona la inquietud de los niños, la ansiedad y depresión.
Aprenden e interactúan con el entorno que los rodea.
Logramos fomentar curiosidad y respeto por la naturaleza.
