On the 3rd of december, I started my very ambitious challenge to power up 3172 Hive Power until the end of 2024. So far things are going pretty well. Since my last post 4 days ago, I managed to power up 692 Hive. Over the whole duration of the challenge, 1018 Hive were powered up.
HBD swapped
The first thing that I did was to take the amount of HBD from savings that was above my HBD goals. I managed to get 100 HBD and I swapped it for hive. This gave me a good boost.
Post payout
Creating content really helps in completing this challenge. One of my posts came to maturity and it brought 21 Hive Power and 5 HBD that I swapped for Hive power. In the last days, I've created posts on a very regular basis, so this will definitely help me down the road.
Hive-engine earnings
On Hive-engine, I have some income sources that generate regular return. I have managed to pull 50 Hive from there and powered it up.
Since my last post, I managed to power up a total of 692 Hive which brings me much closer to my goals. There are only 2154 Hive power remaining and I have still 23 days left. When I look at the benchmark that I have set, which consists in adding 117 Hive power every day of the challenge, I'm now 433 hive above benchmark.

More difficult in the coming days
So far, I have managed to use the easy available funds on HBD savings and hive-engine to increase my Hive Power. These sources are more or less spent however and I will rely more on organic growth and post rewards in the coming days. With a lead of 433 hive over the benchmark, things are looking good. I'm confident that I will be able to reach my goal and have a stake of 72'000 Hive by the end of the year.
