Hello, SPIer's. Today is Sunday and we end the SPI week with our weekly dividend payment this evening and every Sunday at 21.00 GMT.
What is SPI?
SPI tokens are growth investment tokens that pay a weekly dividend. They have been circulating for over 2 years, on STEEMHIVE. Mostly sold for 1 HIVE, each token today is worth over 4 times its HIVE issue value and 12x its dollar value. On top of that, token holders receive roughly 8% more SPI's every year from weekly dividends. We raised $13k from issuing SPI tokens for the first year which has been used to grow a diverse portfolio of investments, many of which provide streams of passive incomes. SPI tokens are part ownership of all SPinvest tokens/accounts, assets and income. The price of each SPI token is its liquidation value as SPI tokens are 100% backed by holdings. Handcapped to roughly 94,000, no more can be minted are issued. Adding, hold and compounding has us on the road to major growth and these tokens are still growing in value.
SPI tokens are part ownership in an actively managed fund. We have our hands in over 20 investments with the lion share being HIVE, BTC & ETH. We dont FOMO are chase pipe dreams. Better late than never, 2 days late
Not been a bad week, earning are up a little and you will have already received the dividend on Sunday evening. Jk's earnings from his account have been great this week and helped to give us a nice boast. SPS rewards were down this week as we got a double payout last week. All in all, a good week.
We got our first HBD interest payment last week, we received 74 HBD which is cool. Next month should be closer to 90 HBD and we'll earn over 1000 per year. Our leasing rewards are pretty much covering the weekly dividend so our HIVE balance should remain as it is without to much worry of it going down.
Thorchain is away to the bin again, i'd say we are stuck with it now for a few years. Most others holdings this week have remained flat which is nice after the past few weeks of declining markets.
Our defi holdings are holding just fine. Our earnings from EMP this week were around $800 which were all converted to BUSD so our bear market investment pot is starting to shape and form nicely as we cross over $2000. Even $400 per week for 1 years is $20,000. That could be 100,000 HIVE if it gets knocked down to under 20 cents. Our BUSD is currently sat liquid in a wallet so i'll need to fnd a more permanate place to store it. It'll be interesting what our defi holding at the end of the year compared to now.
We finish the week with an SPI token price of 3.54 HIVE. The dollar value is not looking great but I think and hope we are past the worst of it. Hive looks to have stabilized a little as it hovers around 50 cents. BTC is up over 8% while ETH is about break even. Lucky we hold more in BTC then in ETH. I'll continue to add more stable tokens each week and grow sainvg fund but aside from that everything else is smooth sailing.

NEW EDS Miner

The new EDS mini miners cost 1 HIVE each and there are 25,000 available. Each miner will mint around 0.2 EDS per year to equal a 20% ROI when all 25,00 are issued and staked. I guess it'll take 6-7 months to issue all 25,000 and until then, the mini miner ROI will be higher than 20%.
After 24 hours from release, we have issued 2500 mini miners through hive-engine. These 2500 min miners are currently splitting the total reward pool with an ROI of 200%. The 20% advertised is based on having 25,000 issued and staked, so having 2500 issued and staked is the same as earning 200%. Same reward pool, 10x less miners than projected. If it takes 6-7 months to issue all 25,000 mini miners, the APY will slowly decline to 20% in that amount of time so the sooner the better if you are interested in mining some EDS tokens.
